Your Tesla.
Your feature set.
One VIN. A clearer picture of what your Tesla can do.
Start with your vehicle identification number to see your results. If a feature needs another detail, we’ll ask for it right there — no long checklist to fill in first.
Some features depend on the installed software or hardware. Answer only the questions for the upgrades you want to explore. You can leave other features for later.
Your VIN is used for this check and is not stored in our subscriber database.

Find your starting point.
The current model-year rules identify these configurations for module support. Individual features still depend on installed hardware and software.
| Tesla model | Model-year starting point |
|---|---|
| Model 3 | 2017–2026 |
| Model Y | 2020–2026 |
| Model S | 2022–2026 |
| Model X | 2022–2026 |
| Cybertruck | Not yet verified |
For Model S and Model X built in 2021, the vehicle generation is important: add it to the checker rather than relying on the year alone. Earlier legacy configurations are not supported by the current module rules.
What can a VIN tell you?
A supported Tesla VIN can identify details such as model and model year. It does not establish the current Tesla software, every motor or battery variant, an aftermarket replacement, or a paid Tesla subscription. Add values from the actual car when prompted.
Does a compatible module unlock every feature?
Each feature has its own requirements. Kickdown changes acceleration-mode selection; Performance Boost depends on motor and battery configuration. FSD Activation also requires supported hardware/software and separate Tesla FSD access. An incomplete result asks for more vehicle details instead of treating them as confirmed.
Before a Tesla software update.
Check the supported software version before installing an update or activating a new feature. These results reflect a dated rules snapshot, not a live connection to your vehicle.
